Lucid
Dreams
As Dusk descends to darken sky
She silent bids the light goodbye
The days events exact their toll
Gentle sleep overcomes her soul
Buried deep in linens white
Imagining her lover kissing light
A nameless knight to her he seems
Born of countless lucid dreams
He enters and in a touch he beckons
She from her dream and sleep awakens
Draws him closer to her breast
Embracing him in rapt interest
He delves as deep as she can bear
Enwrapping fingers amidst her hair
Whispering loyal oaths sincere
Capturing what lies beyond the ear
